SMALL BOXES OF ‘INSTANT AID’
SMALL BOXES OF ‘INSTANT AID’
A small group of people from Pickering and Thornton Dale area are shortly going to the Ukrainian /Polish Border to take small boxes of ‘instant aid’ for families forced to flee the Russian invasion of their country. The instant ‘aid idea’ has been tried and tested during the Bosnia crisis in the 1990’s and is extremely simple.

It’s really difficult to fit everything in! Probably best to find the largest shoebox you can get away with.
I bought a sewing kit, sponges, first aid kit (which is a really easy way of getting all the 1st aid bits and scissors in), comb from Yorkshire Trading. Much cheaper than Boots.
Just be aware they do need to be dropped off at 21, Burgate by 15th March 2022.
